This afternoon Mindy interviewed Jade-Lianna Peters, the voice of Kai Lan, on the show Ni Hao Kai Lan is having a special called "The Ladybug Festival." Ni Hao Kai Lan is about a little girl and her friends and how they solve problems together. She mostly speaks English in the show, but she does speak a little bit of Mandarin Chinese as well. The Ladybug Festival is a special episode. Jade-Lianna is twelve and a half, but Kai-Lan is five.
Jade-Lianna celebrates Lunar New Year the same way as Kai Lan does. Lunar New Year lasts fifteen days; its tenents are Happiness, Wealth and Longevity
